Donations to Sandy Lane Methodist Church

From humble beginnings in a Nissen Hut on Dalby Road, to the official

opening of the church on 21st March 1970 and beyond. It has, and continues

to be, quite a journey for Sandy Lane Methodist Church. Enriching lives with

its welcoming and friendly embrace. May God bless us as we travel on and

continue to reach out into the community with a warm invitation to all to join

 us in our pilgrimage.

"We'll praise Him for all that is past,
And trust Him for all that's to come."

Do Come Along.

A message from our Deacon

As one of the current ministers at Sandy Lane Methodist Church, it is my privilege to follow in the footsteps of many wonderful men and women who dedicated themselves to God and the growing of the Kingdom at Sandy Lane church over the last 50 years.

The church sprang from humble beginnings and was born out of a dream of a few dedicated people.  They built and rebuilt the church over the years, constantly keeping an eye on the needs of the community which they serve and always looking to the future.

My colleague, the Rev James Skinner and I, wish everyone at Sandy Lane Methodist Church, past and present, a wonderful year of anniversary celebrations.  May the worship and witness to God at Sandy Lane continue and may the desire to serve the community in God’s name be the focus of your future plans.

Blessings to all and may you know God’s peace and love in your life.

Deacon Alison McCauley
